Yo! I’m Kyla Rose 🙂 I was born and raised in Seattle, half Turkish. Yogini and yoga instructor, jeweler, lover of music, travel, health and fitness, clean eating. I love to inspire and elevate those around me… Helping others see the beauty in simplicity. Writing about experiences and thoughts I find interesting.
This will encompass my passions of yoga, spirituality, meditation, treating the body right, clean eating, health, fitness, travel, music, style, love, bettering the self, caring for our earth, anything I feel that’s worth sharing… I want to inspire, elevate, shine light and have a damn good time. I hope you enjoy it.
TRAVEL: I have grown SO much traveling the world, experiencing new cultures, foods, languages, people. You realize what you rely on so much at home, and so much of it is simply unnecessary! Travel brings excitement, joy, love and a fire into my heart and soul 🙂 Whether it’s a trip to Istanbul with family, a solo trip to venice, or backpacking with my husband, the world has a lot to give!
YOGA: Has healed my body and soul. I really don’t know where I’d be without it! Taking my first yoga class at age 14, I walked out knowing I wanted to be a yoga instructor. Not only is it a great workout for your body, your mind benefits tremendously. I grew up with “ADD” (it seems everyone is diagnosed these days), regardless it was really frustrating, especially when unexplainable anxiety was in the mix (probs from all the meds I was on, no shame).
Yoga gave me an outlet to feel confident, express my body, calm my mind. Walk out of a class and feel like you are on top of the world! I love yoga because it brings me back down to earth and helps me realize MOST THINGS DO NOT MATTER. You’re doing crazy poses in a hot room, heart pounding, sweat dripping, yearning for a sip of water and you just think WOW…This is what life is about. Bare necessities, being one with yourself and those next to you, elevating yourself and others with your energy and kind words of encouragement.
I graduated from Seattle University in Communication Studies and Spanish and right away got my teaching certificate 200 RYT through the Baptiste Institute. I want to share with others the joy and self love yoga has taught me, and continues to give every single day. Especially to younger kids or college students… any age! Since then I’ve been teaching at various studios throughout the Seattle area. I currently sub classes and teach private yoga sessions. As of late, I’ve added teaching mindfulness and meditation to the mix. Holla for a free 30 min session for yourself or your kiddies!
